The Woodcarving Knife 106 (C) is a classic whittling knife with an 85 mm German carbon steel blade. Its long, pointed shape makes it ideal for most wood carving tasks – a favorite among both beginners and experienced carvers.

A trusted tool among seasoned carvers
:

The Woodcarving Knife 106 (C) has an 85 mm blade and is a trusted tool among experienced carvers. The German carbon steel offers long-lasting sharpness and is easy to resharpen. The oiled birch handle always sits right in the hand, and the full rat-tail tang offers strength and stability.

Ideal as a first whittling knife:

The 85 mm long, narrow, and pointed blade suits most types of carving, whether you're a beginner or a pro. The full tang that runs through the handle ensures good stability for more powerful cuts, while the tapered blade delivers precision.

Comfortable birch handle:

The barrel-shaped handle in oiled Scandinavian birch is designed for comfort, even during longer carving sessions. The knife comes with a plastic sheath.

German carbon steel for long-lasting sharpness:

The 2.5 mm thick, 85 mm long blade is made from German carbon steel (C100S), which holds its edge well over time and is easy to maintain. Unlike the 106 (LC), this model features a laser-engraved logo on the blade. It reaches a hardness of 58.5 HRC and has a polished surface that offers basic protection against rust. Always wipe and oil the blade after use.
