The ORIENT EXPRESS BI-MATIC is a safety carabiner specifically designed for belaying.

Its captive eye secures the belay loop of the harness, preventing the carabiner from rotating and ensuring optimal alignment. The automatic double-action locking system and ergonomic sleeve allow for quick and smooth handling.

Automatic or manual locking? The ORIENT EXPRESS BI-MATIC features a double-action locking system for increased speed and safety.

A Safety Carabiner Designed for Belaying:

The ORIENT EXPRESS BI-MATIC ensures secure belaying by maintaining the carabiner in the correct orientation at all times. Its capture gate clips directly onto the harness's belay loop, preventing any rotation. This system eliminates the risk of weakening the belay chain due to cross-loading. Its automatic double-action locking mechanism ensures quick and intuitive closure, while the ergonomic sleeve facilitates handling.

A Reliable and Durable Ally:

Made from high-strength aluminum, this carabiner combines robustness and lightness. Its Keylock system prevents snagging during maneuvers, ensuring smooth and hitch-free use. The ORIENT EXPRESS BI-MATIC is ideal for use with belay devices like the BIRDIE. Also available in a screw-lock version with the ORIENT EXPRESS, the choice between the two depends on handling preferences: automatic for increased speed, or manual locking for enhanced control.
