The 2018-19 Manchester United Special Treble Charity match refers to a special commemorative event held to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Manchester United’s historic treble-winning season in 1998-99. That year, United became the first (and still the only) English team to win the Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League in a single season.

To mark this milestone, a charity match was organized at Old Trafford on May 26, 2019—exactly 20 years after their famous Champions League victory over Bayern Munich. This match featured a reunion of the legendary United players from the 1998-99 squad, managed once again by Sir Alex Ferguson, against a Bayern Munich Legends team.

Some notable players from Manchester United who participated in the charity match included David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, and Teddy Sheringham. The match ended with a 5-0 victory for Manchester United, with goals from Sheringham, Yorke, Nicky Butt, and two from Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the hero of the 1999 Champions League final.

The proceeds from the match were donated to the Manchester United Foundation, which supports local children’s charities and community projects. It was a nostalgic event for fans, players, and the club, honoring one of the most memorable achievements in Manchester United’s history while supporting a great cause.
