Kalvin Phillips is a highly-regarded midfielder who became a key figure at Leeds United, his boyhood club. Born in Leeds, Phillips joined the club's academy at the age of 14 and worked his way up to the first team, making his debut in 2015. Under the management of Marcelo Bielsa, Phillips flourished in a deep-lying midfield role, often referred to as the "Yorkshire Pirlo" due to his excellent passing range, tactical intelligence, and defensive contributions.

Phillips played a pivotal role in Leeds United's promotion to the Premier League in the 2019-20 season, ending a 16-year absence from the top flight. His performances earned widespread praise and led to a call-up to the England national team. Phillips was instrumental in England's run to the final of Euro 2020, partnering with Declan Rice in midfield and earning accolades for his tireless work rate and composure under pressure.

In 2022, Phillips left Leeds to join Manchester City, seeking new challenges at the highest level. Despite his move, he remains a beloved figure among Leeds fans for his loyalty, commitment, and contributions to the club's success.
