Aaron Mooy, the Australian midfielder, began his professional career with the Western Sydney Wanderers during their inaugural season in the A-League (2012-2013). Mooy joined the Wanderers as one of their first signings and quickly became an integral part of the team under coach Tony Popovic.

Known for his excellent vision, passing range, and ability to control the midfield, Mooy played a key role in helping the Wanderers secure the A-League Premiership in their debut season. His performances were marked by consistency and maturity, which belied his young age at the time. Mooy's contributions also helped the team reach the 2013 A-League Grand Final, although they fell short against the Central Coast Mariners.

After his time with the Wanderers, Mooy moved to Melbourne City, where he further developed into one of Australia's finest midfielders, eventually earning a move to Europe and becoming a key player for the Socceroos on the international stage.
