Alexander Zickler, a former German forward, had a significant impact during his time at Red Bull Salzburg from 2005 to 2010. After a successful career with Bayern Munich, where he won numerous trophies, Zickler moved to Salzburg and became a key player in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Known for his clinical finishing and work ethic, Zickler was instrumental in Salzburg's rise as a dominant force in Austrian football. He won four Austrian Bundesliga titles (2006-07, 2008-09, 2009-10) and was twice the league's top scorer (2006-07, 2008-09), showcasing his enduring quality even in the latter stages of his career.

Zickler's leadership and experience not only bolstered Salzburg’s attack but also set a standard for professionalism in the squad. His contributions helped lay the foundation for the club's sustained success in both domestic and European competitions. After retiring, Zickler transitioned into coaching, continuing his association with football at a high level.
