Resistance strain gauge working principle is based on the effect produced by the strain, i.e., when the conductor or semiconductor material mechanical deformation under the action of the external force which changes corresponding to the resistance value, a phenomenon known as "strain effect."

The strain gauge attached to the object to be measured, so that as the strain to be measured is bent together so that the metal foil on the inside with a bending strain. Many metal during mechanical bending resistance changes accordingly.

Behind the printed board output pin definitions

(Bending strain gauge can change the output voltage)

Q: how to use this principle?

This is the bending sensor

The principle is called, in terms of detecting the bending, the strain gauges attached on a carrier, such as: iron aluminum plastic carrier sheet then bent, to detect the bending strain gauge output voltage will change.

The strain gauges can be attached to the object, detecting the bending, and bending the module we converted voltage.
