This Gravity: GP8630N DAC module functions as a high-precision digital-to-analog converter, transforming I2C or PWM digital signals into stable analog voltage or current outputs. Built around the GP8630N chip, this converter addresses the need for versatile signal generation in industrial and robotics applications by supporting multiple output modes including ±10V, 0-5V, 0-10V, and 4-20mA. The 16-bit resolution ensures fine-grained control for sensitive equipment, making this module an essential tool for automated systems requiring accurate analog inputs.

Bidirectional Control with ±10V Symmetrical Output

Unlike conventional DACs that only provide positive voltage ranges, this 16-bit DAC module generates a symmetrical ±10V output. This feature allows for the direct control of bidirectional devices without requiring complex external bridge circuits. For instance, in servo motor applications, a +10V signal can drive forward rotation, -10V enables reverse rotation, and 0V actuates a stop, significantly simplifying the hardware design for motor drive systems and valve actuators.
