Gold-plated jewelry is a type of metal jewelry covered with a thin layer of gold.

Gold plating can be done on metals, such as silver, stainless steel, titanium, copper, and other metals.

The purpose of gold plating is to protect the metal of the jewelry and make it more durable and more safe for sensitive skin. In addition, gold plating can also provide beautiful and aesthetic effects.

While our item with gold plating is meant to be permanent and won’t rusting, it can lose its luster and brightness due to rough exposure. Before that happens, It’s best to take off your jewelry before you go to shower, exercise, put your lotion on, spray your perfume, or go for a swim, etc.

So practicing proper care to your jewelry is the key to extending the life of your jewelry.
